This Bunny can be made with any yarn and hook you like. Change colors as often as you like.

ch-- chain

sl st-- slip stitch

sc-- sngle crochet

dec--decrease (skip one stitch, sc in next stitch)

inc--increase (2 sc in same stitch)

dc- double crochet

Starting at the top of the head chain 2

Do not turn. (except for ears and tail) Work in rounds. Mark the beginning of each row with a scrap of yarn.

Toes

done in rounds

Attach yarn with a sl st in bottom loop of one sc on base.

Row 1- ch2, 6sc in second chain from hook (6)

Row 2- 2sc in each sc (12)

Row 3- sc (12)

Row 4- dec 6 times (6)

stuff lightly

Row 5 dec closed. sl st in same chain where you joined thread.

Row 6- sl st in next 3 sc.

repeat rows 1-5 for desired number of toes.

On the last toe of the first foot sl st to the last sl st at top of toe. end off

decide how far apart you want the second foot. I attached the yarn 8sc over from last toe of first foot.

Repeat as for the first foot.

Do as many toes as you like.

NOTE- if it is easier for you make the "balls" seperately and sew them on after base is attached

Sew base to bottom of bunny. Line up feet to the front of the bunny.

 

Ears

Longer ear

chain 18

Row 1- sc in 2nd chain from hook, 15sc, 5sc in last chain. Continue working around opposite side of chain. Do 16sc.

Row 2-ch 1 turn, do 37 sc (37)

attatch new color for inside ear (opptional)

Row 3- ch 1 turn, do 37 sc (37)

Row 4- ch 1 turn, do 37sc (37)

end off

fold edges together. Right sides out. Sl st closed

Short Ear

chain 10

Row 1- sc in second chain from hook. 7sc, 5sc in last chain.Continue working around opposite side of chain. 8sc (21)

Row 2- ch 1 turn. sc (21)

attach new color (optional)

Row 3-ch 1 turn. (21)

Row 4- ch 1 turn. sc (21)

end off

fold closed. right sides out. sl st closed

flatten ears

weave in loose strings

put wire in the ears (optional)

Sew ears to head

Arms-

NOTE- if you find it too hard to do the "balls" so close together add a chain or two between balls.

Done in rounds. Do not turnn.

Row 1- 6sc in 2nd chain from hook (6)

Row 2- 2sc in each sc (12)

Row 3- sc (12)

Row 4- dec 6 times (6)

stuff lightly

Row 5- dec closed

DO NOT END OFF

ch 2 (add more chains here if you need to )

Repeat rows 1-5 until arms are as long as you like them. I did 4 and 5 balls for my arms.

Sew on to the sides of the bunny.

 

Tail-- leave a long tail at end when making chain

ch 16

Row 1- dc in 2nd chain from hook, do 14dc (15)

Row 2- ch 1 turn,4sc, dec, 2sc, dec, 2sc, dec, sl st (12)

Row 3- ch 1 turn, sl st in next 2 stitches, *dec, sl st* repeat to end. End off. Leave a long tail

Tie the two tails of yarn together

Use those to sew on tail to back of bunny

Sew on some buttons for eyes or embroider some Xs.

Embroider a mouth and eyebrows.

Embellish as desired
