The Tattered Pickle

I ran across the OMG group 

(One Million Giraffes http://www.olahelland.net/giraffes/ ) on Ravelry (http://www.ravelry.com/).

I thought it was a really neat idea.

So I'm going to try and design a giraffe myself.

Here it is so far.

He looks sort of like a weird duck. Hopefully he will start to look more like a giraffe soon.

Well I finished my cozy (or is it cosy?).

I made a cozy for my shark.

I crocheted it  right on the shark. It is removeable though.

I used up all of my mini Kool Aid skeins of yarn.

I guess that' gives me a good excuse to dye some more!

I am also working on an Odd Cozy for Oddballs.

 I am using my mini skeins of Kool Aid dyed yarn for this.

I am having alot of fun with this one!  I won't give it away but I will say it's weird. Even for me.

Hi.

 I'm not sure how interesting my yammering will be to anyone else but I guess we'll see.

 I am working on a couple of things crochet-wise. Well only a couple that I will admit to anyway.

 I have two projects going for ravelry Oddballs challenges. The Inga Bag and Odd Cozies.

 My bag is not going too well. I hate making two of anything so making 13 granny squares is horrible! It was supposed to be 16 squares but no way am I making that many.

 I had 6 made or thought I did.

 I laid them out to see how they'd look and realized that 3 of them were wonky.

 One was crooked and two looked weird where I had changed colors.

So now I'm down to just three.

 I am using dmc floss for my bag. I inherited tons of the stuff from my Mom and decided to try to use some of it up.
